FrontPage 2000: Advanced
Course description
Overview: Students will learn advanced FrontPage 2000 features to create web pages and manage web sites for the World Wide Web or their corporate intranet.
Prerequisites: FrontPage 2000: Introduction, Word 2000: Level 1 and Word 2000: Level 2, Internet Explorer 4.0 or 5.0: Introduction, and Web surfing experience. Recommended but not required: HTML 4.0 Programming: Level 1.
Performance-based objectives
Lesson objectives help students become comfortable with the course, and also provide a means to evaluate learning. Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
¬ Apply web site design considerations when creating a web site with a wizard. Students will also be able to add and modify structural elements in an existing web.
¬ Apply web page design concepts to create and modify web pages by using frames.
¬ Build a web-based form to collect and store user data.
¬ Modify pictures as well as add sound and web components (such as rotating banner ads, marquee text, and ActiveX controls) to their web pages.
¬ Use reports and tasks to manage and collaborate on web site creation.
¬ Animate text and format text and web pages with Dynamic HTML and style sheets.
