Course description

Overview: Students will learn the basics of NetMeeting, how to initiate, accept and participate in online meetings using different features of NetMeeting.

Prerequisites: Windows 95: Introduction, Windows 98: Introduction, or Windows NT 4.0: Introduction as well as Internet Explorer 4.0: Introduction or Netscape Navigator: Introduction or equivalent knowledge.

Performance-based objectives

Lesson objectives help students become comfortable with the course, and also provide a means to evaluate learning. Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:

*           Become familiar with how NetMeeting works and how it is installed.

*           Understand the concepts of Internet telephony and video conferencing and how they are used in NetMeeting.

*           Use NetMeeting Chat and the Whiteboard to communicate with other NetMeeting users.

*           Share applications and transfer files in NetMeeting.
