Course description

Overview: Students will learn how to simplify the daily tasks of running a small business.

Prerequisites: Excel 2000: Worksheets, Outlook 2000: Level 1, Word 2000: Level 1, Windows 98: Introduction, or equivalent knowledge.

Performance-based objectives

Lesson objectives help students become comfortable with the course, and also provide a means to evaluate learning. Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:

*     Create a customer database and protect, manage, and analyze the data within it.

*     Use the resources that are available in Business Planner, and complete a section of the Business Plan Wizard.

*     Use the Direct Mail Manager Wizard to create a direct mailing.

*     Create a financial database that you can use to present and analyze your company's financial data.
