Today's Project Managers must be knowledgeable in all phases of the project life cycle, including the early phase of the acquisition. During this phase, many things must be considered, including contractual issues between the buyer and seller or the seller and subcontractor or between the developer and client or consultant. Contracting and Procurement for Project Managers is designed to increase Project Managers' knowledge of contracting for resources services and goods. The course covers contracting basics, including contract formation, make-or-buy decisions, the acquisition process, functions of contract administration, negotiations, and contract closeout.
